π Experience Guide
How leveling works on WoeServer: the rates, the caps, the three phases of a character's life, and every rule that decides how fast your exp bar moves. For where to hunt, see the Leveling Guide β this page explains the system.
π Server Rates & Caps
| Value | |
|---|---|
| Base EXP rate | 5000Γ |
| Job EXP rate | 5000Γ |
| Max base level | 160 (every class) |
| Max stats (STR/AGI/VIT/INT/DEX/LUK) | 120 |
| Levels per kill | 1 maximum β no kill can ever grant more than one level |
Job level caps:
| Class | Max Job |
|---|---|
| Novice / High Novice | 10 |
| 1st classes / High 1st classes | 50 |
| 2nd classes | 50 |
| Transcendent 2nd classes | 70 |
| Gunslinger, Ninja, Taekwon, Star Gladiator, Soul Linker | 70 |
| Super Novice | 99 |
π£ Phase 1 β The First Life (fast-forward to rebirth)
Your first run as a 1st/2nd class is deliberately a formality: base levels 1β98 and all 1st/2nd class job levels need only 1/50th of the normal exp, stacked on top of the 5000Γ rates. A fresh character reaches 99/50 almost as fast as you can clear maps β get to the Valkyrie, rebirth, and start your real life as a transcendent class.
π¦ Phase 2 β The Rebirth Run (1β99)
After rebirth, High Novice through your transcendent class levels on the normal 5000Γ tables β quick, but no longer trivial. This is the classic climb to 99/70 that the Leveling Guide maps out spot by spot.
ποΈ Phase 3 β The Prestige Climb (100β160)
Past 99 the game changes completely. Reaching 100 is the last cheap step β from there, every level is measured in MVPs. Level 100β101 costs 16.7 trillion base exp: at least ~100 Beelzebub-class kills, and each level after that costs 3% more (values below are for transcendent classes β non-rebirth classes pay roughly 30%):
| Level step | Base EXP needed | β Top-MVP kills |
|---|---|---|
| 99 β 100 | 360 million | β (a warm-up) |
| 100 β 101 | 16.7 trillion | ~100 |
| 110 β 111 | ~22.4 trillion | ~135 |
| 120 β 121 | ~30.2 trillion | ~181 |
| 130 β 131 | ~40.5 trillion | ~243 |
| 140 β 141 | ~54.5 trillion | ~327 |
| 150 β 151 | ~73.2 trillion | ~439 |
| 159 β 160 | ~95.5 trillion | ~573 |
(A "top-MVP kill" here is a Beelzebub-class boss with the 5Γ MVP bonus β about 167 billion exp, or roughly 1% of a level. Weaker MVPs contribute proportionally less.)
The whole road from 100 to 160 totals about 2.7 quadrillion base exp β on the order of 16,000 top-boss kills. No single kill will ever again hand you a level: every level past 100 is a campaign, fed by daily MVP circuits, world boss events, and party grinding all pouring into the same bar.
Level 160 is a badge, not a requirement β a maxed 99 trans character is fully WoE-ready. The climb is there for the ones who want the summit.
πͺ Stat Points & the 120 Cap
Leveling past 99 is also how you feed the new stat cap:
- Total status points: 1,273 by level 99 β 3,005 by level 160 β the climb hands you about 1,730 extra points.
- Every stat can now be raised to 120. Going from 99 to 120 costs about 260 points per stat on the normal pre-renewal cost curve.
- Maxing all six stats to 120 costs about 1,560 points β almost exactly what the 100β160 climb pays out. Reach the summit and you can cap everything.
βοΈ Good-to-Know Mechanics
- π₯ Party up: every additional attacker on a monster adds +25% exp (up to 12 attackers) β shared hunting out-levels solo play.
- π€ Auto Combat: the Auto-Attack Device applies no penalties β full EXP and full drops, same as manual play.
- π Death: dying costs 1% of your current level's base and job exp. At max level you lose nothing.
- π EXP boosters (Battle Manual-type items, event buffs) multiply your gains as usual β they matter most on the 100+ climb.
- βοΈ MVPs give 5Γ exp on top of the 5000Γ rates β past 100 they're the main currency of leveling: a Beelzebub-class kill pays ~167 billion, about 1% of a level.
