🐾 WoeServer Companion System Guide
Capture • Train • Evolve • Dominate
The Companion System is one system for all 618 Pokémon, with one catchable version of every species on the maps. Where a classic spawn exists (the spawn tables below — Caterpie through the seven map Legendaries), that version owns the species: same original IDs, maps and timers, now with random IVs like every catch. Every other species roams as a wild spawn on type-themed maps. Above them all sit the ✨Bless Pokémon — the Top Donator legendaries, given not caught, born perfect (guaranteed 15/15/15 IVs, 100% growth). Every version of a species shares one family: same Shard, same level, same kits and signature skills.
💠 Shards, Levels & IVs — how the system works
Catching. Throw balls at any wild Pokémon — boss-class Megas and Legendaries included. A catch gives you an egg (hatch with a Pet Incubator) plus 1 family shard and 1 Poke Star Dust. All 555 wild Pokémon now roam Rune Midgard on type-themed maps (Fire types in Magma Dungeon and Thor, Water in Byalan, Ghost/Dark in Niflheim and Gefenia, Bug on Mt. Mjolnir…): basics are always around (3 per map, 30-min respawn), evolved forms are scarcer (1–2, up to 4-hour respawn), Megas hold the danger maps (8h), and the Legendaries and Mythicals roam — one of each alive at a time on a random danger map (abyss_03, thor_v03, gefenia03, gl_cas02, lhz_dun02, nif_fild02, mjolnir_04, ice_dun03), respawning 12h / 24h after being killed or caught. Every Pokémon's exact spawn is in the Where column of the full list. Catching a Legendary or Mythical is announced server-wide. Catch rates follow the rarity ladder:
| Class | Poké Ball | Great Ball | Ultra Ball | Master Ball |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | 10% | 30% | 50% | 100% |
| Rare (pseudo-legendary lines, Lapras, Snorlax, Porygon…) | 5% | 10% | 20% | 100% |
| Legendary (birds, beasts, Regis, box legends, Ultra Beasts…) | 0.5% | 1% | 2.5% | 100% |
| Mythical (Mew, Celebi, Darkrai, Arceus, Marshadow…) | 0.1% | 0.5% | 1% | 100% |
Legendaries hunt where they belong: every roamer prowls maps that match its type — Moltres in Thor Volcano, Articuno in the Ice Dungeon, Zapdos around Einbroch's storm fields, Kyogre in Byalan's depths, Groudon under the Pyramids, Rayquaza over Abyss Lake — the exact maps are in each Pokémon's Where cell in the full list.
Two currencies, like Pokémon GO. ⭐ Poke Star Dust powers levels and is universal — any dust levels any family. Shards are per-family and pay for evolutions. Every catch pays 1 shard + 1 Star Dust; wild Pokémon drop their family's shard when defeated (50–100% by tier); boss-class Pokémon drop Rare Shards (30%) that convert into your summoned Pokémon's family shard; and the Pokemon Professor transfers spare eggs for 1 shard each, showing every egg's IV% first.
Leveling (power-up). Summon your Pokémon, then use Poke Star Dust: each dust feeds it once. Costs escalate exactly like Pokémon GO power-ups — level L to L+1 costs 1 + L/8 dust (1 early, up to 13 near the cap), about 663 dust to max a family at level 99 — and since dust drops from every catch, hunting anything feeds everything. The level is per family and account-wide: every evolution stage shares it, wild and Companion versions of a species share it, and it survives evolution. Hate clicking? The Pokemon Professor has a Power-Up menu: it shows your family level, progress and shard count, then bulk-feeds +1 / +5 / everything / to MAX in one click (paid in Star Dust). Hitting Lv99 is loud: a server-wide announcement, and from then on your character wears a GOLDEN AURA whenever that family's Pokémon is summoned — the server-wide badge of a maxed family.
Bonuses. A summoned, Loyal Pokémon buffs its master, scaled by family level. Kits go by species class — a Reshiram carries the Legendary kit and Celebi the Mythical kit whichever version you own, and the classic spawns (their original IDs and maps) are full members of the same families. On top of their kits, every Legendary and Mythical auto-casts a signature skill on each attack (by type: Fire Bolt, Cold Bolt, Jupitel Thunder, Frost Nova, Soul Strike, Wind Blade, Earth Spike, Holy Light… — skill level 1→10 grows with family level), while the nurturers (Celebi, Shaymin, Manaphy, Xerneas) instead heal you below 75% HP. Each Pokémon's exact skill is listed in the full 618 list; kit rules in stat kits.
IVs. Every caught individual — wild or classic spawn — rolls hidden IVs (Attack / Defense / HP, 0–15 each) setting its growth at 85–100% of level scaling — fixed per individual, surviving trades and evolution. Type @iv while summoned to appraise. The one exception: ✨Bless Pokémon — the Top Donator legendaries, which are given, not caught — are born perfect (15/15/15, 100% growth), every single one.
Transform. Type @pokemon while your Pokémon is summoned to become it; type again to revert. Blocked in WoE castles and Battlegrounds.
Mega Evolution — Mega Energy, like Pokémon GO. Mega Pokémon are not catchable and never spawn: they are a temporary form fueled by Mega Energy, a per-family currency you earn by defeating any Pokémon of that family (+2 from basics, +3 mid forms, +5 finals, +10 boss-class — the raid grind). Summon a Loyal Pokémon whose species can Mega (Charizard, Gengar, Gyarados, Mewtwo, Rayquaza… 41 species), type @mega: the first Mega Evolution of a family costs 200 energy, every one after only 40, and it burns for 42 HOURS — surviving logouts: +2 All Stats, +2% MaxHP, Atk & Matk vs all up to +4% stacked on its kit, with @pokemon transforming you into the Mega form itself while it lasts. The species that can Mega are marked in the full list.
🌍 Spawn Locations & Catch Chance
The percentages below are the chance per ball thrown at a full-HP target. They roughly double as you damage it. The Ultra Ball (Tool Dealer, 10M) beats every rate below: Normal 50%, Rare 20%, Legendary 2.5%, Mythical 1% — see Capture System.

⚠ Spawns are silent. There is no server-wide announcement when a rare or legendary appears. Learn the maps and watch the clock — that knowledge is the edge.
📢 Legendary captures are loud. Catching one of the seven Legendaries above shouts to the whole server:
[ Pet System ] PlayerName has successfully caught Reshiram with a Master Ball!
Common and Rare captures are silent.
👑 Top Donator Legendaries
These ten are not wild spawns and cannot be found on any map or caught with any ball. They are Top Donator rewards, and carry a stronger version of the Legendary bonus set.

🎯 Capture System
Use a ball from your inventory, then click the target.
⚔ Soften it first — HP matters
The listed rates are at full HP. Your odds climb as you damage the target, up to roughly double the listed rate when it is nearly dead. A Great Ball on a near-dead Common is about 40%, not 20%.
Master Ball is 100% at any HP.
Rules to know
- The ball is consumed whether you succeed or fail.
- You must be within 5 cells of the target.
- You cannot catch a target that is Hiding, Cloaking or in Camouflage.

🍓 Food & Loyalty
Every companion bonus requires Loyal. A companion you just caught starts at Neutral and gives you nothing until you raise it to Loyal.
| Berry | Feeds | Source |
|---|---|---|
Nanab Berry | All Commons, plus Vaporeon / Jolteon / Flareon | Tool Dealer → Extras — 5,000 Zeny |
Pinap Berry | Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee and Dratini lines — and all 555 wild Pokémon | Tool Dealer → Extras — 10,000 Zeny |
Silver Pinap Berry | The 7 map Legendaries | Donation Shop — box of 30 |
Golden Razz Berry | Top Donator Legendaries | Donation Shop — box of 30 |
⚠ Watch the switch: Eevee eats Pinap, but once it evolves, Vaporeon / Jolteon / Flareon eat Nanab.
🍽 The Auto-Feeder is free
Every companion supports auto-feeding. Switch it on in the pet window and it eats from your inventory on its own once it drops to 89% fullness. Keep the right berry on you and it handles itself.
✅ Loyalty never goes down
On WoeServer, companion loyalty only ever goes up:
- Going hungry does not cost loyalty.
- Dying does not cost loyalty.
- Overfeeding does not cost loyalty.
- No companion can ever banish or leave you.
The only thing that lowers loyalty is evolving — see below.
🔮 Evolution System (Shard Based)
Step 1 — Get Shards
Shards come from three places (see the mechanics section above): +1 on every catch (alongside 1 Poke Star Dust), drops from defeated wild Pokémon, and Rare Shard conversions — plus transferring spare eggs. Shards buy evolutions; Poke Star Dust buys levels. Two NPCs take your spares:
- Pokemon Professor (Prontera) — transfers any spare egg, wild or companion, for 1 Shard each (Pokémon GO transfer rate), and shows each egg's IV% first so you never grind a good one.
- Pokemon Trader (
moc_para01, VIP room) — the classic option: breaks a spare base-form companion into one Shard (pet returned to egg, under 80% weight).
⚠ Transferring destroys that individual — its IVs go with it. An evolution costs 12–100 Shards (original Pokémon GO prices), so expect to catch plenty of duplicates. This is the real grind of the system.
Before he will trade with you:
- Your pet must be returned to its egg — he won't trade while a pet is summoned.
- You must be under 80% weight.
He only accepts base forms — Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey, Abra, Geodude, Machop, Cleffa, Nidoran ♀, Nidoran ♂, Poliwag, Eevee and Dratini. An already-evolved companion cannot be broken down.
Shards are line-locked — only Bulbasaur Shards evolve the Bulbasaur line. The one exception: Nidoran ♀ and Nidoran ♂ both give the same Nidoran Shard, and it evolves either line.
Step 2 — Evolve
Summon the companion and use Evolution in the pet window. You need:
- ✅ The companion at Loyal
- ✅ The required Shards (and Stones, for Eevee) in your inventory
- ✅ No pet accessory equipped on the companion
💔 Evolving resets loyalty — but never your family level
The evolved companion comes back at Neutral and loses its bonus until you raise it to Loyal again. Feed it back up before you count on it in WoE. Your family Shard level and the individual's IVs are untouched — a Lv40 Bulbasaur family means a Lv40 Venusaur the moment it turns Loyal.

⚔ Companions in PvP and WoE
Pokémon bonuses are not disabled on castle maps — they are fully active in WoE and PvP. Only one Pokémon can be out at a time, so only one bonus set is ever active. Every Legendary and Mythical auto-casts its signature skill on each attack it makes (Fire Bolt, Jupitel Thunder, Frost Nova… by type — skill level grows with family level), and the nurturers — Celebi, Shaymin, Manaphy, Xerneas — instead cast Heal on you below 75% HP. The @pokemon transform is blocked in WoE castles and Battlegrounds.
